What's the point if every time you build a decent side a rich club can come and take what they want
They've got a excellent spine to the team with stones Barkley and lukaku if they fold on stones you might as well stick the other two up for sale as they'll be out the door 5mins later saying the club has no ambition

Clubs go a bit mental with big wads of money and try and buy too many players. Like Spurs with the Bale money and Liverpool with Suarez. Reckon you are better off spending at least half on one player and maybe the rest on a couple more rather than trying for 6 or 7.

Half of it, Cough - the other half was to be held back in case we needed further strengthening of the squad, or to fund redevoping the Chicken Run.
As we did neither, I wonder where it ended up?

Unless they have new owners around the corner and have him on a 5 year contract I would take the money.
As said having put in the request I doubt he is signing another contract so the price will start to go down.
I'd ask for £50m though given prices like £36m for Martial.

They have been silly. They should've taken the money a week or so ago and then done some serious business. They get the money today they leave it short to do business. Not worth getting transfer money if you can't spend it. Everton are about 3 or maybe 4 quality players from being a very good team. They'd be silly not to take the money for the kid.
